My hair is… a disaster!
Before we went on lockdown, I… have recently cut my hair so it’s short and curly. My typical routine is to wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner and then use a dry towel to twist it. I have a haircut every 2 weeks to just sharpen the edges and keep it short on the sides.
My hair routine has changed now… since lockdown and my hair has grown back to a beautiful afro that can be braided. I wish I could have either twist or box braids to keep it growing and take a break from styling.
The challenge with my hair is… keeping my hair curly for more than a day and not having to style daily. I have been lazy with my hair during lockdown cos I hardly leave the house..so I wash it less and style it less and ofcos I don’t moisturize as often as I should and it shows 🤷♀️
My lockdown hairstyle is… twist 💆♀️
Top tip(s) anyone with your hair type can use to keep hair healthy and strong this winter? Moisturize as often as possible to keep hair from breaking. Don’t relax your hair no matter how fed up you are with constant afro stress. Keep your hair clean by washing and conditioning and lastly try using wigs and hair weaves to protect hair against harsh weather.
My favourite ORS product to use is the… Black Castor Oil.

Totally relatable. Also have short hair, but since the lockdown hardly pay attention to it.
