My hair is… fabulous!
Before we went on lockdown, I… would install weaves, have it braided in styles that usually wouldn’t last long but very fashionable. I would even style it on its own after being relaxed as I have long thick hair. My hair would always look great and I’m very clued you about the products I use for different styles/ care techniques.
My hair routine has changed now… because the focus has been on maintenance versus style. During lockdown I have had cornrows (with my own hair only) and box braids to keep my hair protected.
The challenge with my hair is… the roots are usually very thick which makes maintenance a lot harder when it has not been relaxed in a few months.
My lockdown hairstyle is… cornrows.
Top tip(s) anyone with your hair type can use to keep hair healthy and strong this winter? Keep your roots hydrated and moist to avoid dryness and weak brittle hair and avoid styles that stress the hairline such as thin braids or thick cornrows.
My favourite ORS product to use is the… Argan Oil and hair food.
